Massive beam ceilings, wood paneling and a fireplace give the hotel bar the intimate feeling of a country inn. Our gourmet restaurant features international cuisine served elegantly on fine linen, imported bone china, crystal stemware and fresh flowers on every table.

Every detail of the hotel and restaurant operation is personally supervised by owner Hans van der Wielen, who brought his extensive European experience with him when he moved to Costa Rica in 1961.

The hotel is fantastic. The landscaping is outstanding, and the restaurant service and food are elegant.
